SHELLEY TANNER
Directora Ejecutiva
Shelley es una graduada de la Universidad de Georgia con un título en la Promoción de la Salud y Comportamiento, y de la Universidad de
Emory con título en Enfermería. Es enfermera titulada y ha trabajado en educación para la salud en Teen Matters en el Condado de Clarke. Como madre adoptiva y amiga de muchos padres de acogida, ha visto la necesidad de servir no solamente al niño, sino la madre biológica, también. Por trabajar con ministerios como Kupendwa y Mercy Health Center, la pasión de Shelley por ellos que necesiten vivienda, apoyo, y capacitación ha crecido. Cree que ayudar a la madre y dar opciones de apoyo provida en todas las etapas de maternidad es la forma de ayudar a las generaciones futuras.
A pesar de que no es la más educada ni experimentada, su pasión por obedecer a Dios y confiar en Su provisión por Sus planes es lo que la motiva a ella diariamente a hacer la llamada a abrir esta casa.
Shelley y su esposo, Russ, tienen tres hijos y viven en el área de Athens. Russ es prestamista de hipotecas con BOE Classic Lending Group y también es graduado de la Universidad de Georgia, en que jugaba el fútbol americano en dos equipos del campeonato del SEC. Sus hijos, Carleigh (10), Ret (8), Maddox (7), and Major (10 meses) están emocionados de estar en este viaje del ministerio con ellos.

Program Coordinator
Kendria Johnson combines her passion for housing, mental health, and family empowerment to support women and children on their journey toward stability and self-sufficiency. As a Licensed Professional Counselor with more than a decade of experience in behavioral health, supportive housing, and program leadership, Kendria is especially committed to walking alongside single mothers as they overcome barriers, build resilience, and create lasting change. Her work is grounded in the belief that safe housing, compassionate support, and hope can transform lives and strengthen families.
Wendy Scarborough
Administrative Support
With her experience of owning and operating her own businesses, Wendy Scarborough provides high-level administrative and organizational support to ensure daily operations run smoothly. Passionate about helping people, Wendy is dedicated to Hope 139, ensuring that the women and children that come through our doors receive the love and attention they need as they become the best they can be for themselves and their children. Wendy is married to Perry Scarborough and they have two adult children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and enjoying the outdoors by hiking, hunting, and fishing.
