"I just felt hopeless, and I felt like giving up. I looked into another organization, and because I had my son, they wouldn't take me. They would only take me if I was pregnant or had a newborn.

I found here, and they gave me the opportunity to keep both of my kids and take care of my kids. And I was very surprised because nobody ever chooses me, nobody ever picks me. Now that I am here, I can actually wake up feeling stress-free. I can wake up to my children knowing that they are safe, knowing that they are comfortable, knowing that they will be fed. Being able to live in my own space and being able to take care of my children and see my son go off to school, I'm so grateful."
