Residential Home for Pregnant and At-Risk Mothers

    • Career training

    • Finances

    • Counseling for various needs

    • Health education

    • Bible study

    • Behavior modification and strategies

    • Cooking and meal planning

    • And more as needs arise

​Hope 139 will provide a residential home in Clarke County for pregnant and at-risk mothers. Women in any stage of pregnancy needing housing and support can enter the program and remain until their baby is 8 weeks old, and women with children over 8 weeks old are also eligible for housing and services. Services include, but not limited to:

Minimum Eligibility Criteria

​To be considered, participants must:

​

  1. Currently, be living in a shelter, homeless (as defined by HUD), or in a temporary   housing situation, such as staying with friends or family. 

  2. Have a recent (last 12 months) history of housing instability, or homelessness, or domestic violence

  3. Be willing to engage in active recovery, sobriety, and other harm reduction strategies. 

  4. Head of Household must be 18+ with legal and/or physical custody of at least one  minor (17 & younger) child or pregnant; only women and their children are allowed to enter the program

  5. Be willing to be employed, enrolled in school (H.S, GED, Job training, or College) or have income and be able to pay the transitional housing fees. Program Fee is a minimum of $150 per month OR participants will pay 30% of their income. 

  6. Agree to meet with program staff for Case Management and therapy at a frequency dictated by their presenting needs. 

  7. Engage in faith-based programs and activities that align with the Hope139 statement of faith. 

  8. Be willing to undergo an interview (phone or in-person) with the program staff.

Participants must be willing to engage in Case Management that supports the following program goals for Hope139:

​

Goal 1: Increase Employment Skills or Complete GED, HS Diploma 

Goal 2: Increase or stabilize income

Goal 3: Obtain safe, permanent housing

Goal 4: Develop healthy parenting skills that align with your child’s age and developmental milestones. 

Goal 5: Increase awareness of medical needs for yourself or your child(ren)

Goal 6: Develop a Spiritual connection
